HallstattWalk is free to read. It is paid for in two ways, and we would rather you knew both.

Our own product

The Hallstatt Town Tour audio guide is made by TouringBee, which also publishes this site. When you buy it, the money comes to us directly. We say so wherever we recommend it.

Affiliate links

Some links to third parties — GetYourGuide, Booking.com and other travel partners — are affiliate links. If you book through one of them, we may receive a commission from that company. You never pay more because of it; the price is the same as going to the partner directly.

What this does not change

We do not accept payment for coverage, rankings or reviews, and no partner sees an article before it is published. If something is not worth your money we say so — including when the answer is “walk the village for free and skip the ticket.” Prices, opening times and closures on this site are checked against the operators’ own websites and dated; where we could not verify something, we leave it out rather than guess.
